There is a small high street with a supermarket, a deli, a pub, a post office and some more shops and restaurants a 5 minute walk from the house and its a 20 minute walk to the town and harbour.

The Pool House has been renovated to a high specification providing spacious contemporary accommodation with use of heated outdoor swimming pool (mid May to mid September) during the day, and exclusive use of the courtyard in the evening.
