So I love plants, but the site for D’s Garden Center is at the old Garden District Nursery site on Government St. and will not only offer her repertoire of beautiful plants, but also a GREENHOUSE where dining will be offered, and an adjacent offering of the Barracuda Tacos and Margaritas with outdoor seating! Anticipated mid July 2022.

Main Street Market

First Saturday of the month is the biggest market with crafts included.Fresh local food vendors, live music. I love going on Saturday. Try the tea cakes from the tea cake man, and fresh strawberries when in season. Same group (BREADA) also has a Thursday market on smaller scale out on Perkins at Pennington Biomedical.

Trader Joe's

I have a Trader Joes market list, coffee beans (Ethiopian shade grown as it helps the birds), lemonade or watermelon cucumber juice, hemp seed bars, and flowers. Definitely the best for fresh flowers.
