Canoeing, Kayaking, Tubing, Mohican Forest Hiking, Zip lining, Go Carts, Putt Putt & Mountain Biking all close by. Imagine your morning coffee enjoying the peacefulness of the river on a porch swing inside our screened in porch. In which later in the day you can have a picnic right on the river. Pleasant hill lake is close by with boating, fishing & swimming. Keep an eye out for Eagles nesting along the river.

During the day you can people watch the activities on the river or spend your day enjoy all the activities in the area. In the evenings, enjoy a fire and roast s'mores and hot dogs along the riverfront.

Enjoy downtown Loudonville's quaint shops, one of our favorite restaurants is the Blackfork Bistro. Enjoy a wine slushy at the Ugly Bunny Winery, just outside of town. Or for another adventure take a short drive to Amish County about 30 minutes away and try the Chalet restaurant in Charm, Ohio. Malabar State Farm is 25 minutes away. Canoeing and Kayaking are the main attraction and hiking in the Mohican State Forest. Enjoy the beautiful fall foliage of Mohican the gorge is breathtaking.

My husband Darrell and I have 3 daughters, 2 son in laws and 1 grand daughter and have traveled as a family over the years to many places on family vacations. It has always been my dream to have our own vacation rental. We found this cottage on the river and the property is just beautiful.
