Blue Moon (a legal, licensed nightly rental with a current Okanogan County health permit as required by law) is dog friendly(2 dog limit) and has a perfect in-town location – walking distance to restaurants, and shops, and all the wonderful outdoor activities Winthrop has to offer. If you’re spending time with friends, or gathering the family, this home has 4 bedrooms with plenty of room for everyone...Welcome to Blue Moon.

This home is located about 2 blocks from Winthrop's one-and-only 4-way stop. It was once a much smaller house that had a recent remodel, building out the first floor and adding a second floor, while maintaining the charming character of the coved doorways. Entering the home on the main floor, there is a good-sized living room with propane stove, a bedroom and bathroom, large kitchen, and bright dining room. There is a ‘mud room’ for your gear just before you head upstairs. On the second floor you’ll find a master bedroom with king bed, private bathroom and sunset porch; and another bedroom with a queen size bed and a shared hallway bathroom. At the end of the hallway is a laundry room, plus a 'bonus room', or upstairs rec room, with two double beds and television.

As a courtesy we send out the directions as well but, if for some reason you don't receive them, it is your responsibility to let us know the day BEFORE your reservation either by airbnb message, text or phone call and to access them in either of the 2 places listed above.

We love to meet our guests and are available daily from 10am to 4pm at the reservation station located inside the Purple Sage Gallery at 245 Riverside Ave. Winthrop, Washington. We are full time residents in the Methow Valley and have been for over 10 years. Kathleen entered the Methow Valley as the Chamber Music Festival Executive Director and worked part time in the hospitality industry in guest services at one of the local Inns. Prior to that she produced the Best of the Northwest Art Shows in Seattle for 17 years, and is an artist herself. In 2014 the Jardins opened the Purple Sage Gallery. Kyrie is a Naturopathic Doctor and Chiropractor, who hung up that hat to work full time in the vacation rental and hospitality business, as co-owner of a 35+ year old business in the Methow Valley, Methow Reservations, which he and Kathleen share.

We are the "hosts with the most" information, since we book over 100 private residences and 12 inns in the local area. We also can assist guests with large group gatherings. The Purple Sage Apartment "Sweet" is a labor of love and is located at the confluence of the Methow and Chewuch Rivers, on the backside of old west Winthrop. The best source for "what is happening" here in the Methow Valley is our local weekly paper, which comes out on Wednesdays, and has a comprehensive calendar listing of events. It is the Methow Valley News. In Winthrop, the Old Schoolhouse Brewery has live music Friday and Saturday nights with no cover charge.
