Norwegian Log allows you to slide into your boots & ski right to the lifts in the morning, then ‘slide right back’ or perhaps walk in for lunch. Located directly under the Gondola with magnificent views of our Yampa Valley.

This 3 bedroom condo will afford your every need for comfort, amenities and convenience. After an epic day on the slopes, soak those weary ski legs in the large common area hot tub or relax by the fire with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. If you have always wanted the luxury and convenience of ski-in, ski-out accommodations, you can now afford it by renting direct from the owner.


To access the Steamboat Ski Area for the 2020/2021 ski season you must have an Ikon Pass or a lift ticket thru a preferred partner.


When you book your lodging & lift tickets thru us, you are eligible for a lift ticket & access to the ski area.
(There will be no walk up window lift ticket sales this coming ski season. You can buy lift tickets online but they are limited. We are your cheapest option on lift tickets).

This complex is classed as ski-in/walk-in, ski-out. However, it must be a good snow year and it must remain cold for the access to be good. You also must be a good skier (green/blue runs). It is not for new beginners.

There is no shuttle for this unit. You must have a car. The free city bus is a bit of a walk and there is no side walk. Uber and Lyft do operate in Steamboat.

This unit is managed by Condos in Steamboat. Kim and Dan Filler, owners of Condos in Steamboat have lived, worked and played in Steamboat for three decades. We will make sure your vacation is one to remember. You will keep coming back to Steamboat year after year - we promise!

You will be renting the entire condo and full use of the garage and hot tub.

Should you have more than the maximum capacity, you will be evicted and all monies collected will be forfeited.

This is a non smoking unit. Please respect this request and don't smoke in the unit. No smoking means this unit is 100% tobacco & cannabis free. If you smoke anything in the unit, Airbnb will be notified and you will be fined $800 for violation of this rule.

NO pets allowed. This unit does not allow dogs, cats or any animals in the unit. If you have a pet in the unit, Airbnb will be notified and you will be charged $800 for violating this rule.

You will be in possession of 5 keys during your stay. 4 keys on the kitchen counter when you arrive and one in the lockbox. There is also one remote garage door remote opener. If a key is missing upon departure, Airbnb will be notified to charge you $30 for a replacement key. The charge for a missing garage remote is $95.

You are 100% responsible for any breakage, spills, damage, missing items or excessive cleaning.

You must be able to do stairs. There is no elevator. The unit is on the 2nd floor.

You do need a car when you stay at Norwegian Log. It is not on the free bus route.

This property is classed as ski-in/walk-in, ski-out as long as there is really good snow and it remains cold. It must continue to snow throughout the season for the access to remain good. It is not an easy access in or out so it is not recommend for beginners but it is not hard neither.

If you need the use of any baby gear (high chair/pack n play/gates), please request as it is not kept in the unit. Baby gear is free but only available upon request and only if in stock.

There is no housekeeping during your stay but the unit is set up like your home. 2 sets of sheets for each bed, blankets, duvets, pillows, bath robes. We supply laundry detergent, TP, paper towel, tissues, soaps/shampoo/body wash, napkins, coffee filters, salt & pepper/spices, trash bags, Cascade for the dishwasher, Dawn kitchen sink soap, etc. All sinks have hand soap & sanitizer. All supplies are there for you to use but we do ask that you do not take any when you depart. If you empty the soap or sanitizer bottles please leave them in the unit so they can be cleaned, sanitized and refilled for the next guest.

Cleaning Protocol: The unit will be extremely clean and sanitized (this will probably been the cleanest rental condo you have every stayed in). All linens have been washed on hot. Everything has been cleaned and if it can't be cleaned it was steamed like the pillows on the couch. Every door handle, light switch, all remotes, keys, pens, hard surfaces have been cleaned and then sanitized with Microban. Please do not spray Lysol on door handles or anything else for that matter. We had a renter this summer spray the door handles on maple doors with Lysol and it damaged 9 doors at another unit. Lysol spray on wood is extremely destructive. All magazines are new for each client. We have gone way beyond the CDC guidelines & any other company in town to make sure the unit is clean and safe for you, your family, your guests, our owners and staff. I think you will appreciate it very much & feel comfortable.

The hot tub is managed and maintained by a different company that manages the Association of the complex. Condos in Steamboat / Kim Filler has no influence or control over the condition, maintenance, hours of operation, notice of repairs or downtime of the common area hot tub. There shall be no parties or gatherings. There are no refunds, credits or prorations if the pool or hot tub is out of service. DUE TO COVID THE HOT TUB MAY BE CLOSED.

Renter and all renter's guests assume all risk and responsibilities. Guests are liable for their own actions and for those of anyone they invite into the property. Guests hold owner, property manager harmless from any liability.

Condos in Steamboat does not have a check-in office. We do live in Steamboat and work from our home office. We are always here to help in the event of a problem, question or concern. After your reservation with Airbnb, Kim will ask you for your details like email, phone numbers, address and a 4 digit code for the lockbox. All our renters choose their own codes. We are a property management company and our software requires your info so we can complete the booking on our end. A couple of days before your arrival, Kim, owner of Condos in Steamboat, will email you a confirmation letter, maps with directions, complex layout and additional helpful info. It is your responsibility to read the email. All the info you need to arrive and check into your unit will be in the email. Do no assume b/c you have the address you actually know where you are going. Google Maps does not have all properties located correctly in Steamboat. Most but not all. Please follow the directions provided in the email.

Check in is 4pm. Check out is 10am.
We do leave 30 hours between each departing guest and an arriving guest.

There are restrictions on vehicle size and number of vehicles. Only two cars allowed per unit. Please talk to Kim about number of vehicles and size. Towing of any vehicle & expense by towing company is the responsibility of the guest. Absolutely no trailers or RV's.

Guest will abide by all HOA rules and regulations. If Kim is notified by the HOA that you have violated a HOA rule, Kim will call you. If Kim is notified a 2nd time during the same stay of a HOA violation, you will be evicted from the unit and forfeit all monies paid.

Guests shall leave the condo in the same condition and position as when they arrive, normal use and wear excepted. If furniture was moved, please move it back to the original location. Additional charges will occur for any piece of furniture that is not in its original location upon departure.

On departure day, you are required to strip sheets & towels that were used. Dirty sheets on the floor of each bedroom and dirty towels on the floor in each bathroom. Used robes on the floor in either the bedroom or the bathroom. Blankets, duvets, pillows are to be folded up and placed on beds. Not in a pile on the floor and certainly not on piled on the electric baseboard heat registers. Renters will be charged for any bedding with burn marks from the baseboard heaters. The dishwasher needs to be put on but not over packed. Any extra dishes that don’t fit in dishwasher should be left in sink or washed. All trash needs to be removed from the unit. All windows need to be closed. All lights need to be turned off. And, all TV’s need to be turned off.

Kim is the last person to see the property before you arrive & the first person in the unit after you depart. Guest is responsible for additional housekeeping charges if the unit is left in a state of abnormal or excessive disorder.
