Originally built in 1913 as railroad housing, this home has been completely restored and is ready for your stay. Home has modern features perfect for a couple looking to get away for the weekend or an extended stay. If you are shopping, golfing, hiking, fishing, boating, sky diving or doing any of the other fabulous things Salado has to offer, you will need a beautiful space to relax in. Coffee overlooking the green. Grill out with the creek view. Wine while watching the sunset. Or cook inside in the furnished kitchen. Up to six guests will enjoy this three bedroom two bath vacation getaway. If you have some work to do, you'll enjoy the high speed WiFi. If you don't, you'll enjoy the streaming TV service.

Blue Vista, lake view, hot tub, fenced yard

Nested on a bluff overlooking the lake, Blue Vista is a cheerful house with a relaxed personality. Enjoy the amazing view, fully-stocked kitchen, oversized jacuzzi, fire pit, and outdoor dining. Work remotely, go fishing, and finish each day watching the sunset from the ambient-lit hot tub. Blue Vista is a quiet retreat in a peaceful setting. With that in mind, we can not accommodate requests for those intending to host loud parties or crowds. Pet fee of $100 per booking. Dogs only please.

Texas Star Cottage

Newly remodeled Texas Star Cottage located on beautiful acreage only five minutes from Temple, seven minutes from Belton, and fourteen minutes from Salado. The Silos, in Waco, are forty minutes away. Enjoy the covered porch, with large rockers, to take in the views of the pasture At present time we don't have horses but are looking. You have your own privacy gate for security. Check in with no personal contact, private amenities & sanitized cleanings. Three night minimum on all holidays.

The unit is attached to the rest of the home but there is a door that separates it and locks from both sides. 10% discount on 7 days, 25% discount on 30 days.

Starlight Cabin~Peaceful Countryside w/ Longhorns

The Starlight Cabin is the actual guest house for a working Longhorn cattle ranch. Although not a large acreage by Texas standards (48 acres,) this special location is perfect for those who wish to get out and away from the usual crowds. It is peaceful and isolated. This is a pet friendly property, and we do charge a $50 one time fee for pets (no exceptions). This fee covers 1 or 2 pets, and helps us keep this place available for guests with furry family members.

Airplane Hangar/Apartment 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths.

Come and enjoy a stay at an Airplane hanger that sits on a small private/public runway. A Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath Apartment with full kitchen. There is also use of a hot tub with a $45.00 fee for your entire stay. You may also Fly in and store your plane overnight for $25.00 fee.
