Our 2-story log cabin (approx. 1,700 sq. ft.) provides plenty of outdoor refreshment with a spacious front porch and back deck with a dual gas/charcoal grill, balcony, wooden swing, and a firepit with plenty of cut firewood. It sits within a private holler on 105 acres along the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The rustic-chic decor inside combines antique furnishings, repurposed barn wood paneling, unique lighting, electric fireplace, and a claw-footed tub amidst modern conveniences.

Kromer Cottage a cozy home built in 1937 and nestled in the countryside yet only 6 min. from Berea College, Historic Boone Tavern, and 15 minutes to Renfro Valley Entertainment Center. Hiking enthusiasts will find The Pinnacles of Berea nearby as well as Boone Trail Trace, and Flat Lick Falls Trail to name just a few. Delicious meals and shopping can be conveniently found in Berea. Our cozy getaway is located with a front porch view of Woods Creek Lake in the fall and winter. We are only a 1/2 mile from the boat ramp for fishing, kayaking, paddle board, and canoeing. Wildcat off-road is less than 4miles away for ATVs. Rockcastle river is 5 miles away for kayaks,canoes, and inner tubes for a lazy day in the water. Cumberland falls is also within 30 miles to catch a moonbow view. We recommend our guests to purchase travel insurance due to our firm cancellation policy
