The Tipi has amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and all the wonders our little farm and community has to offers. Pastoral & mountain views are beckoning you to come & relax at our beautifully restored Timber Ridge House, adjacent to our farm winery at Ecco Adesso Vineyards. The charming historical home has 4 bedrooms w/a 5th room that works as den/bedroom on 2 acres of land. Gather around the firepit, sit on the front porch and watch the sunset, enjoy the hiking trails at Ecco Adesso Vineyards farm or check out the tasting room. It is truly the perfect getaway & conveniently located near Lexington, VA.

Cozy loft on horse farm, 5 minutes from Lexington

Cozy studio loft apartment situated over a garage on a small working horse farm. The loft has a private entrance, microwave, small fridge, Keurig coffee maker, bathroom, comfortable king bed, cozy linens and local art. An inflatable bed and pack n’ play are available. Dogs welcome/$45 pet fee required. Relax in quiet, scenic countryside, only 5 minutes from downtown Lexington, VMI and W&L. Horses welcome also—contact for details about equine layovers. Please note there is no TV in the loft.

Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

The Farmhouse at Balcony Downs

This cozy farmhouse, built in the 1930s, is a hidden gem nestled at the foothills of the Blue Ridge on the historic Balcony Downs estate. With an abundance of outdoor activities on site and nearby, Balcony Downs is a wonderland for the adventurous. Due to the age of this cottage, it has some quirks that you should consider before booking: 1. The bathroom is on the 2nd floor. 2. The stairs are open and steep. 3. The shower is small and may be difficult for tall or larger individuals.
