Outdoor amenities abound, with a pickleball court, 2 paddleboards, rowboat, & firepits at the beach & lagoon. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour drive to Olympic National Park, or watch for porpoises, otters and the resident bald eagles from the couch.

Historic Discovery Bay Beach Cabin Stunning Views

Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

Simple and clean and tastefully decorated, you can use this place as your launch pad for Olympic Peninsula adventures. Or you can hang out on the farm, wander our wooded trails, and visit our goats. This cabin is a part of the Quilcene Lantern, so grab a beer or latte at our bar and catch a show in the barn.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. At the Linger Longer Cottage you'll discover a newly remodeled, fully furnished 2 bedroom home with easy beach access to enjoy the Hood Canal and Quilcene Bay all within minutes to enjoy the wonder of the Olympics. Just a walk around the owner's home provides direct beach access to beautiful Quilcene Bay on Hood Canal. A quarter of a mile south of here there is a boat launch.
