Designed for families as a relaxing spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of life, the "Hillside Hideaway" is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin perched on a hill in southeastern Missouri with a gorgeous sunset view from the screen porch. We have a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, fire pit, and plenty of toys and games for the whole family. It is just a couple of miles to a sandy swimming beach at Lake Wappapello, the boat ramp at Chaonia Landing, and many hiking trails in Lake Wappapello State Park.

Minutes away from fishing hunting and shopping! Located next to a family farm. You can arrange a time to visit and meet their cute cuddly critters! Be our guest! Looking forward to a ideal country cabin or relax in the beautifully lit claw foot tub or roast some delicious marshmallows next to the large rock fireplace located in the living room. It is amazing but the sleeping quarters are located up a flight of stairs if you have any disabilities that prevent stairs the cabin is not ideal.

Enjoy the local wildlife, while walking the trails around the pond and through the woods. We are a working farm with cows and free range chickens. Regrettably, we cannot allow pets to accompany guests. The safety concern for your pets and our animals is too great. Cows like to chase dogs, dogs like to chase chickens, cows and other wildlife.
