Casa Milorca Cottage Suite

The Karoo-style Cottage Suite sleeps two and is tucked away in the pretty gardens behind the main house at Casa Milorca, which was built in 1860 and is situated in one of Prince Albert's prettiest streets in the historic heart of the town. The cottage has a king-size bed with quality white bed linen, and there is an en suite bathroom with shower, as well as a compact lounge and dining area. The kitchenette area has washing up facilities, a toaster, kettle, microwave and bar fridge, and basic kitchen utensils. There is also a tea and coffee station with home-baked rusks. The Cottage Suite, which has its own private verandah, can also be configured with two single beds instead of a king-size bed. Thanks to air-conditioning the cottage is cool in summer and warm in winter; there is also has a standing fan if that is preferred.

Enjoy a picnic under the giant pecan trees in the olive grove, and pick your own sweet, organic grapes from the antique vineyard. Relax on the pool loungers in the shade of the fever trees. Fall asleep to the sound of the leiwater cobbling past your villa at night.

Escape to our stylish cottage in the heart of Prince Albert, Groot Karoo. This charming getaway boasts a spacious room with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom (and floor-bed for a small child and cot for a smaller child). Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and unwind in your private garden oasis on a comfortable stoep. Karoo Country Style Guest suite

We would love you to stay in our Country Style guest suite, which is situated in a large leafy garden with a swimming pool, which guests are welcome to relax in and use. Secure parking is available on property. Our property has an inverter, which makes loadshedding less of a problem. The guest suit is attached to the main house but not shared with the main house. It has its own outdoor entrance and covered living area, so privacy is ensured. The light and airy rooms are decorated with love.

Acacia Cottage

Located on a hectare of farmland in Prince Albert, with privacy, peace and security, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and museum. Children are welcome, making it an ideal getaway for a family, or for 2 couples travelling together. Aircon, swimming pool and braai facilities, fireplace for winter. Electricity is solar-powered and grid. Two double en-suites make it comfortable, an additional suite available [Acacia Annexe, book separately]. North facing verandah for afternoon sunsets.

The Cottage is peaceful and tranquil, a few minutes’ walk from the beautiful Karoo countryside, yet only a 10-minute walk from the shops and restaurants in Prince Albert. Prince Albert is the prettiest of all Karoo towns. Prince Albert is nestled at the foot of the majestic Swartberg Mountains, at the very edge of the Great Karoo.
