Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

The hot tub with the view of the river & the firepit with wood furnished is a great way to spend the day outdoors… Fly fishing, tubing , kayaking or just relaxing watching for wildlife that happens by is a great way to spend the day. Skiing, hiking, dining, wineries near by.

Only 10 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway with Beautiful Overlooks and Hiking.. A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located a 1/2 mile from the Toe River for fishing and kayaking. The Penland School of Crafts is 3 miles away and the beauty of the campus can not be beat. We are halfway between Boone and Asheville for all that these two towns offer.

This is a one bedroom guest house separate from the main house located in the neighborhood of Gingercake Acres with an amazing view throughout the space. There is also a bonus room with a futon. Mountain getaway with fantastic views! If traveling in the winter, 4 wheel drive is highly recommended. Access to the cabin is up a steep road (paved and maintained). The cabin is 15 min from Grandfather mountain hiking trails, 20 min to Sugar mountain skiing, 30 min to Banner Elk and 30 min to Beech Mountain. This 2 bed/2bath cabin includes a loft area for remote work (really good wifi), extra sleeping space, etc. Fully stocked kitchen and high end bed linens!!
