In addition to being 1/2 way between Fernie and Castle mountain for skiing, it is right on the doorstep of the new Castle Provincial Park. From October 1 to April 30 an SUV or 4 wheel drive with good snow tires is strongly recommended. $20.00 cash pet fee is payable on arrival.
