Our classic Kiwi Bach sits on the ever-changing Pātaua inlet. Relax on the deck and watch the tide wane in and out while the kids play on the beach. For more excitement, paddle, swim, kayak or simply walk around and over the footbridge (perhaps do some "bombs" off it on the way) to the surf on the North side. Navigate the vast inlet and mangroves in our kayaks and float home on the incoming tide. In Winter, get cosy by the fire or simply pop on the heat pumps. Furbabies are welcome too.

Te Piringa (The Haven) is set in 10 acres of native bush offering a well appointed 4 bedrm house & large deck with spectacular views of Whangarei Harbour. Close to beautiful walks & beaches, a 5 minute drive to Parua Bay village, 30 minutes from the CBD & within easy reach of Tutukaka Coast and Bay of Islands. Te Piringa Nui sleeps 8 and is the perfect weekend getaway or holiday retreat. The 4th bdrm is a downstairs suite with bathroom & kitchenette available for bookings of 5 adults or more.

Ganeden Eco Retreat

Ganeden Eco Retreat is set overlooking valleys of native bush and pasture. Ganeden relies solely on solar power generation and is earth friendly. This retreat offers an experience in comfort & sustainability. You will be 5 to 15 km from some of NZ's great expansive white sandy beaches, stunning walks, cafes & outdoor pursuits. Your accommodation is half of the main house. It is completely closed off for your privacy with private access & outdoor deck. BBQ by request. Not suitable for children.

Garden Hill Cottage, Maungatapere

Away from the hustle bustle, enjoy this quiet serene spot. The property is well off the highway and the neighbouring orchards screen us from traffic noise. The cottage is nestled between small avocado and mixed fruit orchards, with a view out to the small pond and post’n’rail fenced paddocks beyond. Last minute bookings are usually no problem - we respond quickly. Relax with the family (with up to 3 children) in this organic permaculture lifestyle block with animals that love being fed.

A unique location situated next to the La-Pointe 9 Hole Golf Course, which you will have private access to! This stylish 4 bedroom home is perfect for a golfing or a chill-out weekend away. Great for families, groups of friends, couples, or if you're in the area for work. If golf isn't your thing, you can sit on the deck and take in the views of the golf course, play tennis on the La-Pointe tennis court just a 5 minute stroll away, walk to nearby cafe's or visit beautiful Ruakaka Beach.

Modern cedar home in Dolphin Bay, Tutukaka with all the modern benefits including a separate self contained sleep out. Absolute water front with panoramic ocean views and access to the beach below for fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, exploring, or just sitting on the sand. Enjoy all day sun from the ocean facing decks and then retire to the courtyard in the evening for a BBQ while sitting in front of an open wood fire. Tutukaka's finest restaurants and bars only a 3 minute drive away

The Annex - self contained unit .

The Annex is on a small farmlet, 6 km south of Whangarei, with harbour views. It was a sleepout, built in the 1980's, separate, but next to the main house. It has two bedrooms. There is a double bed and two singles plus a day bed in the living area. The living/ dining area, has a wood fire. There is a small shower room and separate toilet. It is situated about 100 mtr off SH1, so there can be road noise. There are no streetlights and it can be very dark if you arrive after sundown.

The Yurt Wai Rua

The Yurt at Wai Rua, west of Whangarei, is approximately 20 minutes drive from Kamo via Pipiwai Road. It is set in a beautiful tranquil farmland area beside a small lake, which is surrounded by native trees. Watch the native birds, ducks and pukekos whilst sitting on the deck. It has amazing rural views, including massive volcanic rocks. The yurt has a separate kitchen, with a small fridge and gas oven and 2hob burners. The bathroom has a hot water shower and composting toilet.

Seaside Serenity in Parua Bay

This 3-bedroom home beckons with aquatic adventures - swim, fish, kayak, or SUP. Snapper fishing at high tide, and sunset BBQs, watching Herons, Spoonbills, Kingfishers and Oystercatchers, amid ebbing tides. Whangarei Heads offers golf, scenic trails, and a stroll to Parua Bay's conveniences: cafes, takeaways, liquor store, supermarket, beauty shop, gas station, and gym. The Parua Bay Tavern and boat ramp are a 5-minute drive away, granting easy access to coastal pleasures.

Perched above Staffa Bay on the stunning Tutukaka Coast, this 1970s Warwick Lee–designed home is a true Kiwi bach — full of character, cosy, and surrounded by native bush with sweeping views over Woolleys Bay.
