Located near thousands of acres of public land, cold water streams and lakes. Plus a short drive away from some of the premier golf courses, ski slopes, ATV trails Michigan has to offer. Ideally located +/- an hour from Mackinaw City, Traverse City, Petoskey, and Charlevoix shopping is never far away. Well trained pets welcome, and equipped with Kennels if needed

Access snowmobile and ATV trails just across the lake! Enjoy the hot tub and views of the sunrise over the lake year-round with kayaks and swimming in the lake during the summer months. The "Sunshine Cabin" enjoys ample natural sun year around from its lofty position up in the trees. The large picture window overlooking Big Lake provides a birds eye view (partial view) of both the canopy and lake. This 81’ deep lake has an island and home to many types of fish that's why we brought fishing/recreational kayaks for our guests. The boat launch access is just 1.6 miles from the sunshine cabin. The cabin is secluded on 1.45 acres of trees. The place has 18 stairs to the 2nd floor.

One room rustic cabin with private bath Sleeps 4 max comfortably. Small refrigerator, coffee pot ,toaster oven/air-fryer, outdoor firepit, and outdoor propane grill. Overlooking small pond. We currently have bald eagles and golden eagles sighted daily. Close to the snowmobile trail, 4-wheeler trails, horse trails and the Pigeon River State forest. I-75 does run along side of property, but has a tree line which blocks the sight of it.
