The charming Backdoor Cottage is located in the Historic District of Southport, NC. It's named the Backdoor Cottage because you park and enter through the backdoor into the living space. It is within walking distance of the whole Historic District including the waterfront, restaurants, shops, churches and art galleries. Much of the art work in the cottage was done by local artists. Each bedroom has attached private bath for privacy. Beach is 10 minute walk over the nature bridge behind the Rec center. If you want to drive to beach- .5 miles to 40th street public access.
