Edifice Rex

Edifice Rex, a 300 square foot studio apartment, is only one mile and less than 2 minutes from Interstate 81 yet offers a very bucolic, peaceful setting. Countless cultural, historical and recreational opportunities exist within a 30 mile radius. The James River and Appalachian Trail are but minutes away. The name, "Edifice Rex" is to honor the caretaker on the property, a German Shepard named Rex. You will not have to interact with him ( he wears a radio collar) but he welcomes attention.

Serenity Place (Site 2) 30 amp Campsite

Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay surrounded by beautiful mountains right beside the New River. Kayaks and tubes can be put in or out right at the site. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash and under the control of their owners at all times. Be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets. Help us keep the grounds clean and litter free by disposing of any trash, cigarette butts or other items responsibly. All trash and personal items are the sole responsibility of each tenant.

Shelly’s Cozy Cottage

This is a separate studio apartment/guest house on the owner's property. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. Lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. Queen bed, queen sofa sleeper and pack ‘n play, and high chair, if required. Large common space with sofa bed, small table and chairs, electric fireplace, closet and lots of drawers, and flatscreen smart TV. We have direct TV, Netflix, and WiFi. Large deck with seating and a gas grill for you to enjoy outdoor BBQ.

Mother Earth is super comfy with plush blankets washed between each stay, comfortable seating and open the dome to enjoy that fresh mountain air! There is a propane fireplace and a minisplit for heat/ac.

Foot Hill Farms II Hanging Rock

Unplug and reconnect in this private country home with oak, cedar and pine throughout. Enjoy a full modern kitchen, with open concept to living room. Main floor has two bedrooms and 1 bath with large shower. Downstairs is a pool table room, 3rd bedroom and full bath. Relax on wrap around porch with rockers and swing. Enjoy the fire pit, wood provided. Hang up the hammock and relax. 10 min. drive to Hanging Rock State Park and 20 mins. to Pilot Mtn. State Park.
