Our historic 1836 Barn houses the world's most sought-after Steinway Piano ever crafted (the CD-199). During your visit, you will be staying in the historic 1820 Junie's Cottage, named after the Co-founder of the NY POPS who lived at the farm for 20 years. Through Ruth and Skitch Henderson's generous donations to heritage preservation projects, they created CT's largest green corridor by dedicating the Hunt Hill Farm Preserve as permanently protected land." Luxury Rural Barn

Renovated luxury barn on a quiet rural road yet close to all the attractions of Southern Litchfield County. The light-filled barn has two large patio doors into a substantial living and entertaining area with a large sectional sofa-bed, a dining table for 10 and adjacent kitchen area with an island. There is a downstairs washroom. A large light-filled upstairs sleeping area has a king-size bed and a bathroom with shower. Outside is a patio dining area and parking is in the dedicated driveway.

Farm Stay with Highland cows!

A serene get away in a farm cottage on a real working farm. We homesteaded this property in 2012 and have created our own slice of paradise. We grow produce and flowers that is sold at a local farmers market. We have Scottish Highlander cows, an ex racehorse, a shetland pony, goats, ducks, and chickens. You're welcome to roam the property, sit by the pond, visit with the animals, take a tour of the farm or explore all that Litchfield county has to offer!

The Cove Cabin

An original Candlewood style cabin. The house has been updated to offer all modern comforts. It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two two-person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1.
