The Architect's Retreat by Oregon Coast Modern

Originally designed by renowned Portland, OR architect Marvin Witt for his family, this towering 3 story "tree house" has been lovingly updated and restored. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and an open concept living room and kitchen with fireplace on the top floor. The house also features 3 private decks. It's a short walk to the beach and close to town and hiking trails. Per Airbnb policy please note we have exterior cameras for security in the driveway, front walkway and east side siding.

Our home is 1 block from Nehalem Bay and an easy 5 minutes drive to all that Manzanita has to offer. Including beautiful beaches, Nehalem Bay State Park, miles of hiking, delicious dining. Walk into town for coffee, food, shops and the river, or drive a few minutes to Manzanita Beach, Nehalem Bay and nearby hiking trails. Back at the house, enjoy the fenced yard, spacious patio, fire pit, fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room to settle in.
