If you're looking for a quiet stay outside of Nairobi, welcome to our small farm. The chickens and sheep welcome visits in their separate quarters upon request. Fresh cooking herbs are available upon request from our kitchen garden. Gazebo on property with large dining table is available for use. Nearing shops, restaurants, and swimming pool. 30mins to Nairobi city, 45mins to JKI airport, many tea and coffee farms nearby. Airport transfer via my private car available for extra fee. The house is big (350 sq.m) with a Master bedroom, with bathroom and a walk-in-closet en suit, two big guest rooms and a bathroom on the first floor where also a big terrase with a beautiful view of the Ngong Hills is located. On the ground floor there is a combined dinner- and sitting room, a big guest room and a bathroom as well as a modern kitchen. The house is all over living up to modern European standards amidst the masais grazing cows and sheep surrounded by beautiful tropical birds.

You will reside on 7 acres of farmland in a welcoming community, in beautiful natural vegetation and serene surroundings overlooking Nairobi National Park.

The Ital Farm

We are located in the heart of limuru, surrounding us are expansive flower and tea farms. The residence is a country home set up on a cool and expansive 3 acre plot with farm animals like cows, chicken, goats, fowl, ducks and a pack of hunting dogs. At night, the expansive night sky offers beautiful views of star constellations that are usually not present near towns and cities owing to light pollution. The country home also has well manicured lawns that are ideal for relaxing outside.

Kawamwaki Farm House is a 1920s colonial bungalow with beautiful views over a meadow and indigenous forest. It is in a quiet residential area. The house, which can sleep 8 people across 4 bedrooms, is fully staffed. Guests also have access to a living room (with roaring fire), TV room, large dining room and verandha with wonderful views. From there you can enjoy the private land on foot or horseback. Ideal for a quiet family weekend away - not a party house.

Just outside Nairobi towards Ngong Hills is the small agricultural farm "Karen Little Paradise" with fresh vegetables, fruits and small animals. In a quiet location, you can enjoy the view over the fertile forest to the Ngong Hills, as Karen Blixen lived. Guests have easy access to Nairobi CBD (15 minutes drive), JKIA (20 minutes drive) and the Nairobi commercial hubs of Upperhill (10 minutes) and Kilimani (10 minutes). Shopping malls and markets are in close proximity including Tmall, Yaya Center. The area is very secure and neighbors the Strathmore University.
