Only 4 miles from Bar Harbor, the Airbnb is located near several hiking trails, Sand Beach, Thunder Hole and Ocean Path. The Airbnb borders Acadia National Park on one side and is a convenient place to stay while visiting the area. Located in the Otter Creek village of Mount Desert, a 10-minute drive from Bar Harbor.

Acadia National Park ocean front & garden cottages

Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

Ruth's Place, peaceful and dog friendly

RUTH'S PLACE is a cozy home private location close to Southwest harbor & Bar Harbor. My home offers all the necessities for a perfect, relaxing Maine getaway and has a fully equipped kitchen (lobster pot and all!) to enjoy home cooked meals. Take dinner outside on the back deck and enjoy the cool, summer Maine nights. Enjoy the Firepit in backyard and watch the stars. There is a short trail across the street to take a morning stroll, that joins Acadia Mountain. ONLY DOGS ALLOWED!

3 Bedroom Home on a private road on Long Pond. Truly on the quiet side of Mt Desert Island. Screened in front porch on water side with access to the lake (~300 feet through the woods) and private use of the dock. One and a half bathrooms. Perfect spot for a quiet staycation on Mt Desert Island. Listen to the loons on the lake in the evening, the wind rustling through leaves. Secluded wooded location. Only three houses on this ten acre family parcel.

Craney "Tree" House near Acadia

Craney House is a comfortable place with character—good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We affectionately call it our "tree house" because of the jungle that used to obscure the house. We love Otter Creek for its quieter access to what Acadia has to offer—close to the Park Loop Rd, carriage and hiking trails, but it's also only about 5 miles away from Bar Harbor and 10 miles to Seal Harbor.

DOGS WELCOME. Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful skies of Maine. Sunny, charming two story home with views of the Atlantic Ocean from Bass Harbor with Swan Island Ferry at the end of the drive. This is a working harbor so there is always something to watch. Close to Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, Acadia NP. Wev have 5G Wifi. Your guest house is completely private and for your use with a private entrance.

Pretty Marsh Cottage

This beautiful, light-filled cottage on waterfront property on the western side of Mount Desert Island has picturesque views of the Mount Desert Narrows and access to a private pebble beach. The house is on very secluded wooded property for a nice private getaway. All you will hear are the sounds of birds and waves lapping up on the beach. Just a short drive to all that Acadia National Park has to offer!

Bluehouse Cottage in Acadia, 5 min walk into town

Charming 4 bedroom, 2 bath traditional wooden cabin situated on 8 acres in Southwest Harbor. Walk into town easily for restaurants, galleries and boutiques. Or walk to the town dock for an adventure to another island. Ferries leave daily to explore outer areas. Acadia easily explored from here, with parts of Southwest Harbor National park land.
