Our caravan is situated right next to Heysham port so perfect for the ferry to the Isle of Man. We have space on our plot for 2 cars and even a 3rd would fit easily. Our caravan is a good size with a kingsize bedroom with space for a travel cot and has an en suite bathroom. We have tried to make our lovely caravan homely so you feel at home. We supply bedding, towels & toiletries and have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Entertainment passes can be bought at reception.

The Hut offers the best of all worlds: it borders a nature reserve, is just 0.7 miles from Lancaster station, is a 10 minute walk from the historic city centre, with its many cafés and museums and a stone's throw from the Lancaster Canal where you can amble along taking in the wildlife, boats and pubs. Drakes Cottage is situated within the courtyard of a former 18th century coaching stables. The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk away, via public footpath through the surrounding fields or country lanes. Famous for its 12th century Priory, 2 Michelin starred restaurants & delicious sticky toffee pudding. The Edwardian town of Grange is a 5 minute drive with plenty of amenities and a lovely promenade walk. The southern end of Lake Windermere is a 12 minute drive.

In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
