Skönhuset (Swedish for "the comfortable house)" embraces its early 20th-century historic grace and modern-day amenities. Designed by Victoria and Brian Freeman, Its spacious kitchen features an original full-height historic cabinet. The living room holds the secret door. Each of the three bedroom suites features a queen-size bed with a Casper mattress, ensuite bathroom and Smart TV. The onsite laundry is on the lower level, near the tornado shelter that doubles as a secondary living room.

The Loft House

Enjoy the modern conveniences in this remodeled 1930's bungalow! You will love this gorgeous new kitchen with all appliances, quartz countertops, center island eating bar, and all of the amenities needed for your stay. The cozy living area has a small recliner and comfortable futon. Relax in the bedroom on the queen size bed with walk-in closet. The bathroom features a spacious Onyx walk-in shower. The loft has two, twin size beds, but is only accessible with a ladder (age 5+ only).

Central Kansas home away from home

This family home is a perfect retreat with sleeping for up to 10 people. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals for a large crowd. Gatherings around the fireplace in the winter or the patio in the summer makes for great family evenings. There is a variety of family friendly games to enjoy such as dominos, scrabble, ping pong and foosball. This home is also equipped with many handicap accessible features such as grab bars in the master bath and an entry ramp.

We have created a cabin for your enjoyment. Take some quiet time away from a work schedule. Are you traveling through Kansas on I135? We are a mile and half off Exit 48 at Moundridge. Enjoy a night or two (or more!) in the peacefulness of a country setting. Listen to the birds and nature sounds and relax! Eat a meal in the wooded area behind the cabin. We want you to feel welcome to our Cheyenne Cabin!
