Langwell Bothy

Langwell Bothy has two rooms with vestibule entrance where modest coffee/tea bar is set up. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and small refrigerator, including a sink, NO COOKER. Main bedroom has view over to Hoy island. The second room has a double bed/couch. (If 2 guests & need 2 beds, please message this) There is a shower room/toilet/sink (wet room) accessible only from the second room. The second room has two views over looking the main house garden and views towards Stromness.

On the North Coast 500 route, this property offers an ideal location for exploring both Caithness and Sutherland. Melvich boasts a sandy beach within a 5 minute walk from the cottage. This property has a private and enclosed garden with private parking. There is an open fire in the living room which would be set by the host. Dog friendly, max 2 dogs.

Centrally situated in Kirkwall means only a 3 minute walk to the marina, harbour and the main street where you will find shops, cafe, restaurants and bars. Fully equipped accommodation with two bedrooms (one double room, one twin room). Melvich is situated on the NC500 route and is ideally placed for exploring the local area. Local pub within walking distance serving evening meals. Booking is advised. Free Wifi available, however we cannot guarantee a reliable signal. Lovely beach nearby which is popular with surfers. Please note due to increased costs, guest now have to pay for the electric they use.

Feawell Self Catering Cottage, Stromness, Orkney

Just 1.5miles from Stromness, Feawell is a semi detached cottage sleeping three, in an idyllic location overlooking Orphir Hills and Scapa Flow. We have a large vegetable garden and produce is available to our guests free of charge when in season. Shellfish are also available from our creel boat at a small price. We have a garden and patio area for our guests use and outbuildings suitable for bikes, canoes etc.
