A perfect, rustic spot for you or your out of town visitors to have a space of their own. Relax with the wood-burning stove, propane fire pit on the private deck, or fish in the 2-acre pond on the property. This property is on our land, but separate from our home; have privacy and your own space to park. No smoking or events.

This historic structure was originally a 2-story log home built in 1813. The home was used as an Inn or tavern along the Old Federal Road leading from Columbus to Springfield. In 2020, the decision was made to disassemble the second floor of the original cabin and then reassemble it on a new foundation with walk-out basement. This rebuilt cabin overlooks Deer Creek and a 50 plus acre wetlands area. The property is 1 mile from I-70 and is only a 30-minute drive to Columbus, OH.
