This individual Annexe is situated near the wonderful market town of Coleford in the heart of the Forest of Dean, which has all the amenities needed to make your stay enjoyable and is an ideal base to explore the area. There are many places to visit, such as, Puzzlewood, (walking distance), Clearwell caves, Symonds Yat and the Wye Valley. There is a footpath that leads directly from the property into the forest so you can enjoy walking and biking. There’s also two 18 hole golf courses nearby.

Oakwood Cottage, Cannop in heart of Forest of Dean

A 100-year old, semi detached cottage, set in the beautiful Oak woodlands of the Cannop Valley Nature Reserve. The family Cycle trail, XC trail, Enduro trail, DH trail and Pedalabikeaway Cycle Hire Centre are only 200 metres from the cottage. Cycle storage is available at the Cottage. Beechenhurst Lodge Picnic site, the Sculpture trail and the scenic Cannop Ponds are a short woodland walk away. Oakwood Cottage sleeps up to 7 guests and is pet friendly with a large enclosed garden.

The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

We are surrounded by lovely walks and lots to discover including the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Hay-on-Wye, Symonds Yat and many other beautiful places. Inside there is an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen with a multi-fuel burner at one end. There are 3 double bedrooms. The bathroom is huge and there is a large shower and bath as well as french doors out to the hot tub. There is also a downstairs toilet and utility room.
