Bring your family to this lakefront walk out lower level of the house with two queen bed . There is wood burning fireplace,a big yard with zip line and play ground perfect for a family with kids getaway . There’s a fire pit out side, the dock to sit and enjoy the lake. The yard is shared with owners (respectful family of 4 and friendly dog) living upstairs. Please park in the driveway. It’s only 20 minutes to downtown Calgary . Totally disconnect at the Raven’s Nest a back to basics rustic tiny cabin tucked away in the trees. The cabin is close to the main residence but completely private with a private gated entrance and free parking a short walk to the cabin. The cabin is heated by a small wood stove and an oil heater, has a small kitchen area and a loft with a queen bed. Please note there is no running water and the bathroom is an outhouse a short walk away. There is no cell service or wifi at the cabin.

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!
