We only have one unit here, so come be our exclusive guests. Drive down our road through trees and cattle fields and stay on the edge of the woods in a pocket of privacy. Our property is full of mature elm and oak trees. We have 7 acres of park like trails cut and mowed throughout the property. We protect our wildlife habitats so wild turkey, wild hogs, whitetail deer, raccoons, armadillos, hummingbirds, Robins, egrets, painted buntings, and red tail and red shoulder hawks are on the property.

Grandma’s Country Cottage

The cottage was built eighty years ago by my beloved grandmother. Since that time, there has been three additions. If you are looking for a modern home with no flaws, please do not reserve our precious cottage. However, if you desire a place that is clean, quiet, spacious, and full of love, then this is the place. Also, the neighborhood is rich with diversity and inclusion. It is within an hour distance from Austin and San Antonio. Don't forget about the watermelons and barbeque in Luling.

Located 50 minutes from Austin and an hour from San Antonio, our property sits out in the country about the same distance from Lockhart and Luling on FM 86. Our adorable guest cottage is located behind our house on a couple of acres surrounded by woods and fields. Perfect for 1 or 2 people to enjoy the beauty and solitude that the country offers. The cottage is 400 sf with a semi-private bedroom with a queen bed, kitchenette, living room, bath, and a covered porch with rocking chairs.

We are 1 mile from Palmetto State Park which offers hiking, fishing, paddle boarding and canoeing. Downtown Gonzales is only 15 mins away and gives a great glimpse of Texas history with museums and the downtown square. Ottine Mineral Springs is 2 miles away and offers a spa experience centered around thermal mineral springs. The choice is up to you!
