River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Private lower level houses 2 bedrooms with 2 queen size beds, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen & game room. Game room has Billard's, Foosball, Ping Pong, Pinball machine, Putt Putt golf, & bean bag toss (cornhole). The Boat House has 4 lounge chairs and free kayaks & paddle boards to use. Tie up your own boat to the dock or boat rental. Fishing is Free from the boat house. Across the street is The Boardwalk, which is Tims restraunt & Crabhouse & Bar, Moo Thru Ice Cream, Delli, & Miniature Golf.

Wellness Cabin W/ Hot tub, Sauna, Cold Plunge.

Soak in the cedar wood burning hot tub/cold plunge. Unwind in your private Sauna. Relax by a firepit with a pizza oven (dough, cheese, sauce, pepperoni supplied). Find some peace along the natural spring in the mediation/breathwork area. Hike/Bike on the trails. Put your feet up for a lovely outdoor projector movie night. River Bend Retreat is a self-guided wellness retreat that allows 2 guests to destress, reconnect to nature, and truly experience deep rejuvenation of mind, body, and spirit.

The Guest House at Annandale is nestled on a beautiful 63 acre horse farm in the wine and hunt country of central Virginia. It overlooks a scenic 4 acre lake and has 25 acres of paddocks hosting a group of rescued horses that you can watch as they peacefully graze in retirement. Wildlife frequent the area for your viewing pleasure. The property is conveniently situated near award winning wineries, Montpelier and historic downtown Gordonsville with its quaint shops and welcoming restaurants.

This is a private second story apartment above a local business with a separate entrance and key-less entry.

Professionally decorated and luxuriously furnished, the Cottage can accommodate up to 7 people if the sofa bed is included. It is great to be so near to Charlottesville, on the Monticello side of town, with quick access to all Charlottesville has to offer. So many wineries close by. Beautiful countryside. Yet affordable.

This private campsite includes a charming off-grid camper for those that don’t want to entirely detach from modern conveniences. Most vehicles can drive to the site, but low sports cars or luxury vehicles are not recommended. It's an adventurous drive, so expect bumps, scratches, and tight turns! If you do not want to drive, it is a 15 minute walk from the parking lot.
