Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton & Chatsworth are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.

A truly delightful, terraced, natural stone-built cottage in the picturesque village of Great Longstone in the Peak District. Oak floors and exposed stone walls add to the character of this cottage, not too mention the wood burner to curl up by after a day exploring this beautiful part of the country. The pretty village of Great Longstone is set in a wonderful location in the heart of the Peak District National Park, flanked by Longstone Edge, with Bakewell and Chatsworth House close by.

For those who love country walks, there are plenty, right on your doorstep. Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, The Monsal Trail (to name a few) are but a short journey away. The village boasts many amenities - a Co-op, bakery, a butcher, Pharmacy, café, several pubs and a superb restaurant-all in walking distance.
