Live small, unplug, and unwind at our cozy, clean, and charming cottage in peaceful Gills Rock. Away from crowds, this tiny retreat includes a living area with kitchenette, two full-sized beds with crisp cotton linens, plus a private patio, grill, fire pit—stunning sunsets just across the street. It’s the perfect home to recharge after a day exploring Door County. Just 15 minutes from the bustle of the bigger towns—close enough for adventure, far enough for peace. Located on scenic Highway 42.

Cabin on lake w no public access. Owners out of sight and sound. Great pike fishing on supplied jonboat and 4 kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. Lake Michigan beach and boat access 5 minutes away. 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks, 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi, 25 minutes to La Fayette State Park. 12v batteries supply a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome except on beds and futon :) Silverware, utensils, propane and firewood provided. You'll need ice, food, and drinking water.

This quiet TINY (144sq ft) gem, privately tucked away and yet very accessible, Cabin Unwind, has a seasonal porch, queen sized bed, a few 'kitchen appliances' and GREAT wifi. The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. WINTER GUESTS, please note...DON'T come down the driveway without PROPER WINTER tires! Leave your car at the turnaround and I'll gladly shuttle you and your gear.

New in 2022: extra fast Wifi via Starlink (up to 105 mbps) and a high efficiency ductless AC and heating system.

Unwind and enjoy your time on Washington Island while staying at our lovely apartment, just a stones throw away from Schoolhouse Beach and only two miles from town. Our newly built apartment has two bedrooms, a living area, a dining area, and a kitchenette. Walk out to a balcony that overlooks a private yard surrounded by woods, grill a steak on the Weber grill, walk to the beach for an evening swim, and come back and cook marshmallows around a cozy campfire.
