"Home Place on the Maury" is nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and fronting the scenic Maury River. The logs of this charming cabin date back to the 1700's. The home features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a spacious living room and dining room with an additional upstairs family room and office area. Unwind on the main level wrap-around porch with large screened area or on the upstairs screened porch. Sip a glass of wine by one of two fireplaces. Kayak the river or enjoy a lazy float downstream.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Woody’s is only 30 minutes from Madison Heights and 37 minutes from downtown Lynchburg.

Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
