Large garden with lots of outdoor seating and plenty of space for kids to play football, jump on the trampoline etc. No matter what season you visit Spruce lodge it has something great to offer, be it the garden in full bloom during Summer, the gorgeous Autumnal colours of Autumn, the warm romantic Winter evenings by the open fire or the awakening of nature in Spring with the dawn chorus, you won't be disappointed.

Plenty of family activities nearby with Ballyhass Activity Centre which offers plenty of land and water activities. Zip wire along the trees in Farran wood or if you wish to keep your feet on the ground you can stroll to Mullinhassig Waterfall or fish in the Lee. Only 38 mins from Cork City and 30 mins from Blarney Castle. Central location for touring Cork and Kerry

Located on a quiet farmyard with a large garden, 3km from the Lee Valley. Host lives in another farmhouse next door. Great fishing nearby in the river Lee, national rowing center also located within 10 mins drive. 25 mins drive from Cork city, 15 mins to the Blarney stone. Easy access to West Cork and Kerry region, all reachable with day trips. Lots of great walks nearby. If you need “fast”WiFi, this is probably not the location for you. We are rural and not served by incredible internet speeds.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Rockfort Gate Lodge is part of Rockfort House estate, situated in the middle of the countryside, yet only 25 mins to Cork City and Kinsale, gateway to the wild atlantic way, offering the best of both worlds. The Lodge has been renovated to the highest quality, offering all the comforts of a modern home. The accommodation provides a quiet and peaceful place, relaxing with beautiful country walks.

The Storehouse and stables on a working dairy farm

Come and experience life on a working dairy farm and you can even help milk the cows if you'd like to. The cottage has all the conveniences of a modern home including a washing machine, oven, electric hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. It has oil central heating. We have free wifi for your use. The Storehouse is located on the grounds of our family home at the rear of the property. It is accessed via our farm laneway and an electric gate.

Glengarriff Lodge (formally Lord Bantry's Cottage)

Glengarriff Lodge, or what used to be Lord Bantry's Cottage, is a luxury self-catering space hidden away on a secluded, leafy island surrounded by 50-acres of ancient oak woodlands in Glengarriff, West Cork. The estate was the location of a former hunting lodge for the Earls of Bantry and offers guests a rare glimpse of a truly magical part of old Ireland, in an absolutely gorgeous and pristine setting with privacy and comfort.
