Vallakot Farm Miðbær

Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

Recently renovated guesthouse in the peaceful countryside - only 10 minute drive to Akureyri where you can find a variety of services and entertainment. Great views over Eyjafjörður and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature surroundings with walking paths around the area and also to the mountain and coast. The place is also a residency for artists so don't be surprised if you run into open workshops, art shows or find Icelandic writers working on their next novel during your stay.

Eurovision movie apartment located in the heart of Húsavík, the whale watching capital, is the best place to stay to experience local Icelandic vibes. This house was built in 1904 which makes it one of the oldest (and coolest :) houses in Húsavík. What is more, the Eurovision movie was shot there. 2 floors apartment with 3 bedrooms and spacious living room gonna make your stay unforgettable. There is a small kitchenette in the room with an electric hob, fridge, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, microwave and kitchenware. Guesthouse Hvítafell is in a perfect place, in the north. Bústaður í Aðaldal

Fullkomin fyrir par eða litla fjölskyldu. Bústaðurinn er 32m2, með stóra verönd, frábært útsýni yfir Vestmannsvatn. Í bústaðnum er eitt svefnherbergi með hjónarúm, baðherbergi og sambyggð stofa og eldhús. Í stofunni er svefnsófi fyrir 2 og flatskjár. Á veröndinni er einfaldur heitur pottur, stórt útiborð með 6 stólum. Reikingar eru bannaðar í húsinu. Ef men hafa Veiðikortið er hægt að veiða í vatninu. 27 km til Húsavíkur og 60 km til Akureyrar.

Country home 6 bedrooms in a beautiful landscape

The house has 6 bedrooms with two 160 cm beds, three 140 cm beds and one 130 cm bed. The kitchen is well equipped. There are two washing machines in the house and two dryers. There is a small stream in front of the house, and the house is located in a beautiful valley with a river. It takes 30 minutes to go to Húsavík, Myvatn, Dimmuborgir and it is 40 minutes drive to Akureyri. 10 people can stay in the house.

Nice and homie little room in a timber cottage, perfect to unwind and experience the calm and quiet countryside, we are very central to most attractions in the area, and a great location to spot some northern lights during winter. Very little light pollution is in the area. You have everything you need with a small kitchenette and a mini fridge. Full private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer

The apartment is a part of the house complex at Sunnuhlíð, a farmland close to the town of Akureyri. The apartment is perfect for four adults, two couples or families traveling on their own. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view of Eyjafjörður and Akureyri. Additional fee for more than two guests is  € 18 per guest, per night.

The house is located on the countryside by road 87 to Myvatn or Húsavík, a perfect location if you want to visit Lake Myvatn which is 20 km away, Húsavík 30 km away, Ásbyrgi less than 100 km away, Goðafoss about 32 km away and Dettifoss about 60 km.
