Waterside Home, Hot tub, Fireplace, WiFi, Dog-OK

A welcoming modern cottage getaway located directly on Fontana Lake in the summer and Alarka Creek in the winter. Pull your boat up to our dock in the summer or fish in the trout-stocked creek just outside your door when the lake is down. Float away a lazy day in your own corner of the lake or let the sounds of the flowing creek wash away your life's stress. The living room's gas fireplace provides the perfect backdrop for family game time, curling up with a book, or a romantic evening in.

Mountain House Rental at the Lake

This is a four season vacation spot. Create your own memories in the western North Carolina mountains by Lake Chatuge! Enjoy great hiking, boating, fishing, and much more! Take advantage of the hiking and biking on the Jack Rabbit Mountain trails along the shores by Lake Chatuge. Winter discounts available from January 1 until March 31. OPTIONAL MINI COTTAGE (for a third bedroom that sleeps 2) with Queen sized bed and TV but no extra bathroom for an extra $25 per night plus $25 cleaning.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

The home sleeps 6, however the sleeper sofa and twin beds are best suited for children.
