Paddle in our gorgeous local paradise right in Orlando! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! We love beginners (and experienced too). This paddle experience is kid friendly, family friendly and even Dog Friendly. We'll meet at the boat ramp on Lake Ivanhoe. It's one of Orlando's most beautiful spring-fed (and critter free) waterways. We will teach you to Stand Up Paddle or Kayak and have you feeling like a pro in no time! We'll stay by your side and take lots of pictures of your experience as we guide you through the lake for an awesome, memorable experience. This is a great way to enjoy nature safely and the whole family can enjoy being on the water together as we have a board for everyone. We usually see fish, turtles, birds, otters and more. We do not see alligators or manatees here. When you leave this experience you will have a new skill you can take on many new adventures in the future! Our default vessel is our single clear kayak. However, we also have Paddleboards, Clear Paddle Boards and 2-Person Clear Kayaks. Please let us know if you would like to reserve these vessels instead. YOU CAN DO IT!! The property has many stories of paranormal activity collected by employees, guests, and overnight investigations that we have participated in. Guests are issued EMF detectors, and we welcome to you bring your own equipment to try to capture evidence. We do ask that the equipment doesn't disturb other guests and is handheld. As your host, I'll guide you through the Silver River via glass bottom kayaks! I'll make sure you experience all the hot spots that you're otherwise likely to miss on your own, while offering a unique underwater view of sunken shipwrecks, deep blue springs, caves, artifacts and more! We'll share our waterways with an abundance of wildlife such as manatees, alligators, turtles, otters, monkeys and several species of fish and birds! This is an experience you'll never forget; equal parts serene and adventurous and appropriate for all ages and experience levels! My glass bottom kayaks are the only of it's kind on the Silver River! They come with a sit-in-top design, which means they are well suited to all-weather paddling. The cockpit is dropped lower into the boat, which means stability is greatly increased, paddler comfort is enhanced, and wave impact is reduced. It's nearly impossible to tip or flip! My kayaks come standard with a transparent hull for underwater viewing all the way to the bottom, even in the deepest springs in the river. There's plenty of room for a comfortable, stable ride! Clear kayak tours through the crystalline waters of Rainbow Springs!! We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. We'll get you loaded up into your clear kayak and off we go! You will be riding in a tandem clear kayak during the experience unless booking as a solo guest. The paddle will last about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. We will be sure to take plenty of pictures and give some awesome unique facts about the area on our several picturesque stopping points! There will even be a couple of chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing spring water! The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards Rainbow Springs, the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Introduction to Whirling and Dervishes. I will talk about the history of whirling, experiences and benefits. Reading Rumi poetry and listening to Sufi meditation music. Then I will start giving instructions to the steps as we experience the whirling, followed by reflection. This experience is currently available for women.

Please plan to arrive 15 mins before tour. We'll meet you on Church Street and go over the agenda and rules of the tour. We'll educate you on the different types of haunts you may encounter on our tour and then hand you ghost hunting equipment to enhance your experience. This tour is our sampler tour and will last for about 2 hours. For those that want a longer tour, we do have the 4 hour tour that is called the Ultimate Tour. ($120 per person) Each night is different. No two tours are ever alike even if you do the same one twice. We'll point out the landmarks and tell you the history behind Orlando. Then we will tell you the urban legends and personal stories we have about the buildings themselves. Once that is done, we'll take you inside so you can determine if you think the building is haunted or not! Hopefully, you emerge with a ghost story of your own! We'll meet at Menard May Park, 413 S. Riverside Drive, Edgewater, and you'll learn the basic skills of Stand Up Paddling before we go on our water excursion. We'll give you all the information you need to safely enjoy your time on the water. We'll guide you along the waterway of the Indian River as the sun sets over the water. It is a great way to relax and enjoy nature at one of the most beautiful times of the day. You will have the opportunity to see dolphins, manatees, turtles, eagles, herons, osprey, stingrays, crabs and more on the water here. It is majestic when you see our local wildlife at this time of day. We will stop on an island along the way to provide you a break. We will bring snacks and drinks while you rest and take in the natural beauty of the sunset. We will take pictures to share so you always have the memories you created with us. Children are also welcome. Anyone age 9 and over can paddle their own vessel. Anyone 8 years and under can ride on a board with their parent or guardian.
