Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

The cottage is within walking distance to hiking trails, parks, Knife River Beach (3 blocks), Knife River Marina & The Great Lakes Candy Store. Minutes drive to Canal Park, Two Harbors, Gooseberry and Split Rock. The marina has public access for all your boating/fishing needs or fish the river -located across the street.

Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation. Be sure to enjoy our Sauna! We are located 5 miles off lake Superior near some of the best outdoor activities MN has to offer: Gooseberry Falls (13min), Split Rock (20min) and Stewart river (3mi) for trout fishing.

Close to Lake Superior, Superior Hiking Trail, North Shore snowmobile trail and the City of Two Harbors. There is a futon in the living room that can be used as a second bed.
