Good location for day trips to Snæfellsnes and the Golden Circle. During the winter time is a good chance of seeing the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis).

It sits a moments drive from the wonderful Hvammsvik Nature Resorts and Hot Springs which is one of Iceland's most unique outdoor experiences. The Beach House is also in close proximity to the Golden Circle; Thingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir.

The Artist Lodges is a collection of 8 one-bedroom upscale cabins.
