The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

A family heritage 1850 log home that was completely renovated in 2007. The front porch overlooks Stony Knoll vineyard grounds and tasting room which is across the street. This wine lodge consists of 1 full bath with a shower and jacuzzi, 1 double bed, 1 king bed and 1 single bed loft. A fully furnished kitchen for all meal prep. A full sized living room with fireplace and TV. Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch or listen to the rain hit the country tin roof.

Cozy and private room with separate keyless entrance from the brick patio and off-street parking. Enjoy the whirlpool tub in the full bath which includes separate shower. We are in the Yadkin Valley and the Foothills of the Appalachians, so just minutes away from many scenic spots and wineries to enjoy!
