Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.

The Cottage is a 1949 cottage located end of a rural road. It has all the necessities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. You can warm up next to the newly installed pellet stove or drink a hot cup of coffee from the Keurig. DVD, Blu-ray, cable and wifi are available. We are a small, family owned historic farm and we lovingly raise a variety of animals including chickens, horses, rabbits, pheasants, quail and mini-donkeys. Through our gated grounds you’ll find our beautiful cabana. It’s a little taste of heaven on earth. It’s hidden within our residential property. You’ll have the whole waterfront to yourself. Fish off the dock, kayak, or just relax in seclusion. Outdoors you’ll find a large covered porch, fireplace and hot tub. Inside- a queen wall Bed, small sofa bed, fireplace, cable TV, Wifi. Neighbors are not close. The shower is in an outdoor room accessed through the bathroom, private but not heated.

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.
