Notre maison est située au coeur de la région d'Apokronas, entre les contreforts des Montagnes Blanches et les eaux cristallines de la baie de Souda (20min). Au milieu des oliviers et des vignobles, elle est un ancien Kafénio rénové par un architecte grec local.Elle offre le charme de la tradition grecque et tous les conforts modernes. Le jardin est construit sur 3 terrasses exposées plein sud. A Samonas se trouve une taverne réputée. A Stylos (10min en voiture) commerces, tavernes, minimarchés.

Cretan Traditional Stone House of 1850 in the Nature and Flora of Chania

The house is located in a small traditional village which consists of two neighborhoods built on two elongated hills and separated by a ravine. At the bottom of the ravine is a very old stone fountain with trees. The houses are masterfully built of stone on the successive levels of the two hills thus providing a beautiful traditional settlement. The view to the opposite villages are impressive. The flora is especially rich in herbs and medicinal herbs such as oregano, thyme and labdanum.

Chania Tzitzifes mansion

Tzitzifes is a small village located at the foot of a mountain ,way off the tourist paths. Use of car necessary.Parking area 30m from home. Closest beach Georgioupolis and Kavros 18 min drive.
