Chatsworth Retreat

Nestled amongst native trees in iconic Chatsworth Road, this accommodation provides privacy in a standalone location. Located next to our home, this is a separate suite and bathroom which has TV, bar fridge, some kitchenette amenities and a heater. Great overnight location after work commitments, a family occasion or for a weekend away. This is a very quiet location with a short drive or ten-minute walk to Silverstream Village, Supermarket, Railway Station, restaurants and a local Gastro pub.

'The Cottage'

‘The Cottage’, is a cosy, self-contained cottage situated in the lovely Kaitoke countryside, a 40 minute drive from Wellington; 20 from the Wairarapa and 10 from Upper Hutt. 'The Cottage', is also the perfect location for access to the Rimutaka Incline Trail and Aston Norwood Gardens & Cafe. It is a modern two-bedroomed cottage, which could accommodate up to four guests. From the lounge, you can enjoy watching the animals play in the paddock below or the birds fluttering around in the trees.

Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

Enjoy our 1 bedroom house that is 5 min drive from the Upper Hutt city centre with quick access to the motorway to Wellington City. Open plan full kitchen, dining room and lounge with everything you would need to cook a meal. Separate bedroom with a new queen bed. Ride, roam relax at our mountain bike park. Maximum peace and quiet on top of a hill with nothing but views. Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.

Our self-contained, double-glazed, fully insulated compact cabin is well appointed. It stands alone on our 3 acre lifestyle property, private from our house with fabulous views to the Remutakas. There is an outdoor dining area with a BBQ. Relax in the ~outdoor bath~ under the stars in front of the wee fire (kindling & wood supplied). We have a small dog (Lucy), sweet Huntaway (Ruby), donkeys (Phoebe, Anna & Lily) & August (cat). All very friendly.
