The Cat House

You will feel like you have traveled back in time when you rent this 1950s fishing cabin at Lake of The Ozarks. The cabin, we call "The Cat House", is located on the quieter side of the lake, so you can avoid a lot of the massive boat waves and hustle & bustle seen in other areas. It is located on the 47 mm of the Osage. It has a private dock with two slips and 2 PWC lifts. It is perfect for a small family or small group of friends that want to relax and enjoy the view, fish or swim.

Looking for privacy, peace and quiet, and a great view? You've found the right home! Is this the best view on the lake? We're biased but it's definitely one of the best for the price! This is not a lake front property but it's elevated above all of the houses in front of it so you will still feel like you are on the lake. In the morning when the sun rises and bounces off the lake it might give you goose bumps. After 3 years of owning this house I still get them.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. We have a queen size bed in the bedroom, a pull out sofa bed and a roll away bed in the closet. Walk out of the spacious deck and then walk to your left straight to the pool. Beautiful views of the lake morning and night. Bars and restaurants such as Red Heads, Dog Days , Margaritaville, and Backwater jacks just a few miles away.

Relax in this beautiful private setting! This single-bedroom log cabin is located just minutes from Lake of the Ozarks, Ha-Ha Tonka State Park, Niangua River, and Ball Parks National. Amenities include full kitchen, bathroom with shower, queen bed, loft with twin mattress, dining table, Keurig coffee, TV (no cable) and DVD player, fire pit, picnic table, tent camping area, and hiking trail. No Saturday check in.
