With photo-ready furnishings, white cotton and linen bedding, and subtle antique decor, our cottage exudes a warm vibe that will make you feel right at home. Please, no wild parties or drug use. Enjoy the cabin and surrounding 60 acres, featuring walking trails, fishing pond, a large fire pit, river access with canoes, and historic church, The Portico. The guesthouse is a studio barndominium on our 15 acre property, with dedicated parking and private entrance away from our primary house. Surrounded by woods and nature, you'll enjoy peaceful, quiet nights listening to soothing sounds of wildlife. Very private location to enjoy with fenced yard and fire pit. Located halfway between the historic town squares of McDonough and Covington. Close to Jackson Lake. Just 35 miles to Atlanta. Dogs welcome: Under 40lbs. Yard is small, so 1 dog max.

The 1811 Cottage is as unique as the 120 acre farm it sits on with it's wide heart pine plank walls, ceilings, floors, and the duel fireplaces. This historic settler's home features a living room, master bedroom on the main floor, and a huge sleeping loft, making it comfortable and cozy for one to six guests. Modern additions include a large bathroom with claw foot tub and shower and a nicely equipped, yet tiny kitchenette. The front porch is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee!
