Attached to the beautiful Shirley House, the Bolt Hole offers a wonderful place to relax. Enjoy the hot tub and take in the garden and paddock views. When it is chilly, draw the curtains and light the wood burner. Quiet and peaceful yet 2 minutes' drive from a great village which has two super pubs. 5 miles from beaches and 5 minutes' drive onto the open Forest. Bring your dogs & horse too! We have stables & a manege. Meet our donkeys, horse & birds and relax in the New Forest National Park.

After a peaceful morning coffee, take the dog for a stroll through the quiet Strouden Wood. Jump in the car & be at Blue Flag beaches where dogs are allowed in 10 mins. Or take a 15 min drive to Moors Valley Country Park for some of the most breath-taking scenery in the UK with activities including cycle hire & a steam railway! Have dinner at the homely Pavillion pub, enjoy the chilled atmosphere & some exquisite British cuisine. End your day watching Netflix & rest on the premium EMMA mattress.

Perfectly located for walkers and explorers, this self contained tiny home is attached to the back of our home, with its own entrance and just a 5 minute walk to the cliff top, 7 minute walk to the beach along with the O2 and BIC close by too. There are lots of places to explore right on the doorstep, many of which can be reached by walking, cycling or hopping on a sightseeing bus meaning once you arrive if you have a car you can leave it parked up on our driveway for the duration of your stay!

The Lodge Retreat is nestled at the bottom of a secluded garden pathway in the sleepy suburb of Southbourne and is a stones throw from Bournemouth’s award winning beaches. The whole of the Lodge Retreat is yours to relax and unwind and includes use of your own private hot tub. There’s plenty of free street parking and more often than not, you can get the street space directly outside of the property.
