Deer View Cabin is the perfect secluded getaway to spend your time relaxing in the hot tub or sit listening to the rain on the tin roof in a rocking chair on our beautiful porch. Inside you can unwind in comfy chairs beside a cosy stove whilst you look out onto woodland & wildlife. If you like walking we have beautiful off road walks to the quiet beach of Grimston (25 min walk) or around St Michael’s woods, bring appropriate footwear. Our beautifully converted barn is ideally located in the picturesque village of Ruston. Set within a stunning Grade II listed farmstead, just 50 metres from the edge of the North York Moors National Park & with easy access of coastal walks, beaches & market towns including Whitby, Pickering, Filey, Cayton & Malton. Stylishly & comfortably furnished, the ground floor is roomy & open plan with a wood burner & under floor heating. The mezzanine bedroom has a super comfortable King size bed & bath.

Ideal to discover the Yorkshire Coast and Wolds. The town itself boasts numerous restaurants and bars as well as a vibrant retail market, including the traditional market on Saturdays. It is an ideal location to enjoy the race and golf courses on the Westwood as well as being a 10 minute walk from the train station.

Pop the kettle on & make your way to the secluded tranquil rear garden and enjoy the sounds of the countryside. Take in the sunset at what is said to be the sunniest spot in Skipsea before getting cosy in front of the wood burning fire for the night. Wake up being spoilt for choice with many dog friendly beaches nearby.
