This is my rural home,very quiet leafy suburb with swell maintained lawn.It has stone wall fence with electric fence.Tourism attractions includes: 2 hot springs,Abundu and Ayombo ,The home is 3km from from Lake Victoria’s Miti Mbili beach,the Homa hills,The destination is through Kisumu International Airport the Ubber or Taxify to Kendu-Bay branching at Kanyadhiang towards Pala Market junction then use the road towards the lake on your right then the home is 100 metres on your left to the lake.

Rusinga Island Sunset Homestay

Where are we? We are located in Rusinga Island, which is a small island in lake Victoria but connected to the mainland by a bridge. Mbita is the nearest town on the mainland and 8 km away from the homestead. The lake is always in sight and only a 5 minute walk away. On the island you will find mainly small farms with the families living either in the traditional mud huts or more modern brick houses. Several small villages are spread around the island, Kolunga Beach being the closest.

The residence is 100 meters from the shore of Lake Vitoria, beautiful view of the lake, sounds of birds, monkeys and hippos. Well fenced private place with hospitable community, solar provides light to the homestead, kitchen and facilities available, dining area, plenty of water and surrounded by both fishermen and farmers within the community. One can volunteer in schools, Widows program and Agriculture.
