Hidden in the woods

Quiet, country setting that comfortably accommodates two. This space is above our garage, which is not attached to our house. We have lots of chickens, curious cats and a couple of friendly goats. We are often outside working or playing, but the apartment is very private once you are upstairs!! There is NO WiFi here. There IS a lovely, private balcony with a nice view, lots of movies, and fun games. Verizon service works great here, so if you have a Hotspot you could hook up to our smart TV.

We offer the simplicity of a cabin with the comfort of a family home; enjoy country living in this spacious lodge that sleeps 10 adults! Kitchen and living area are bordered by windows offering panoramic views of the lake and opposing park. 6 bedrooms and 3 baths, including a large bedroom on the first floor with an en suite and office area. Silo Gardens - Garden Suite

The Garden Suite provides 1 queen Murphy bed in the living room, 1 full in the bedroom, and 3 fold-out mattresses. The suite features a full kitchen, dining table, massage chair, sitting area, and a roll-top desk.* Soak up the sun poolside (mid May - September), spend evenings around the bonfire, visit the farm animals, walk in the woods, or explore your artistic side in our art studio. *We will be replacing the carpet with tile at the end of the summer due to wear and tear.

Come enjoy our recently renovated 28' RV that sits directly on the Thornapple River. Enjoy collecting eggs for breakfast from our chicken coop, playing with our goats or kayaking the river. 4 Kayaks Included!!! Feel free to wander our 14 acres or just relax by the river. The RV has a full bathroom, with small shower. It has a stove, microwave, fridge, a grill, and all the necessities to fix a great meal. All linens are provided. Come make some unique memories!

There is a fire ring and picnic table in the yard. 2 kayaks available to use upon request. The dock is put in on Labor Day and taken out Memorial Day. The cottage is 37 minutes from Grand Rapids, Mi 28th Street. 40 minutes from Grand Ledge, Mi.
