Quiet space in the country

Small addition to our house for out of town guests and family. Private entrance and isn’t connected to the rest of the house from inside, but above the room is our kids' bedroom. It has a little kitchen area with a water boiler microwave and fridge (no freezer). There’s a small bathroom with a shower and a queen bed all in 160 square feet,so a very tiny, tight space :) there’s a little porch area to hang out. We are off the beaten track in the woods. 12 Min to Callaway, right off 185 exit 30, 32

The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. Studio located on private wooded 20 acres with 800 sq foot of space, crafted with reclaimed materials wood and metal. Large deck overlooking 7-acre lake with burn pit. Private entrance with electric fireplace, television, music, Queen size bed, sofa, bar with stools, refrigerator, 2 burners cook surface, microwave, Keurig, toaster, dishes and cookware. Private bath with compost toilet, shower and sink. Access to paddle boat with life jackets available. Fishing rods if you want to try it!

A short drive to Callaway Gardens! Few people even know it exists except the owners whose family has occupied this land since 1835 . We are an hour South of Atlanta. The cabin is not primitive. It has all the modern convenience sitting on a 20 ac tract with bigger tracts of land adjoining. I have a five person sleep accommodation but if you are a larger family I can make an allowance. It is a very safe area and we are available if you need us.

Shanty in the Woods

In the country but close to everything. 2 min from I-185; 4 min from I-85. 1 hr. from Atlanta airport or Auburn. 45 min from Columbus. Unit is private comfortable rustic Studio Apartment with bath, for 1 or 2 ppl - (1 queen bed). Pool out front door! We live in separate log house next door - where 1 bedroom (queen) @ $35 is usually available for ADDITIONAL guests in YOUR party. Brkfst sometimes available for a fee by request.

The Waterview Lake House

New beds and TV’s in every room! Located 3 miles from Callaway Gardens and a half mile from downtown Pine Mountain The Waterview Lake House is located at a large wedding venue & offers a peaceful retreat that is pet friendly and is on a 5 acre lake, fishing is allowed! Sit on the front porch and watch the sunset over the fields and sit by the lake and enjoy your coffee to watch the sunrise! Beautiful!
