Upside down stone Bothy on Marsden Moor

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Old Piggery beautiful views. Dog friendly garden.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!

Newly renovated two bedroom cottage in the peaks. Sitting on the trans Pennine trail, Longdendale trail and near to the Pennine way, it’s ideally located for walkers and cyclists. Set in the hillside of Greenfield, Saddleworth. The cottage is situated on our family farm where we have a variety of animals: horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Due to the potential dangers we ask that guests do not access the yard and use the designated path to the cottage. The cottage has been recently renovated and features a wood burning stove and open wooden beams which has retained traditional character
